50th Reunion Classes Present Their Class Gifts

28 new members of the Heritage Roll of honor were inducted during St. Ambrose University's homecoming festivities on October 11, 2009. The induction was the capstone event of the weekend, following homecoming Mass on campus. The Heritage Roll of Honor was established in 1978 with 100 members. Today, there are more than 750 members who have remembered St. Ambrose in their estate plans.

The 50th reunion class inaugurated an endowed scholarship as a class gift, while the nursing class celebrating their 50th reunion established an endowed scholarship for a nursing student, named in honor of Sister Mary Brigid Condon, R.S.M., the long time division director of the nursing program at Mercy Hospital. Both classes have left a legacy for future generations of Ambrosians whose dreams of a college education are made possible through scholarship support.
